Earlier in the year, we were commissioned to make a bespoke door for an old chapel in a nearby village. The new door was some 2m tall and obviously being an original chapel the frame and the door had to have the wonderful characteristic archtop. The door and frame were handcrafted from solid oak timbers and finished in several coats of Devon Wood Oil for a durable finish. The ironmongery was supplied by Kirkpatrick and fitted by us along with some characteristic cover strips and door studs for authenticity.
