Description
These boards were reclaimed from a railway in Kentucky, America.
As one of our most characterful flooring options, our Kentucky Oak boasts beautiful, silvered, naturally weathered faces that we brush sand in order to retain most of the original surface whilst providing you with an exceptional looking floor that contains bags of original charm.
This floor has fantastic history with it – on some of the ends of the boards they are a little rough, so we contacted our supplier and he told us this is something that cannot be helped as these are the marks from when animals had been tethered to the fence and had been chewing it! It doesn’t get more reclaimed that that!
This floor can also be supplied planed all round, still displaying lots of character.
All flooring needs sanding and sealing once laid in situ.
Supplied 5″ wide, 3/4″ thick and average lengths of 7′.
This flooring is machined to order with a lead time of approximately 8 weeks.
