Description
These timbers have been reclaimed from North England. Douglas Fir is well known for it’s stability and durability, making it a very popular choice for flooring. These particular boards have a gorgeous, warm reddish tone creating the perfect flooring option for any space. By salvaging these boards, we are not only saving waste to landfill but, continuing their life and re creating them into future use for many years to come. This reclaimed timber has lived one life, and has now been re-purposed to live another.
Particulars
This flooring has been machined from reclaimed joists and is supplied 190mm wide x 20mm thick, in varying lengths. The edges are square however, we can apply a T&G for an additional cost if required. Please just ask when ordering.
All boards are supplied planed on both faces. One face is supplied completely planed whilst another may contain some ‘hit & miss’ planing – some original paint may be left on the underside. These reclaimed boards display a range of original characteristics including nail/bolt holes, iron staining, variation in grain and much more.
The images are photographed with no sealant and are supplied as natural timber.

PLEASE NOTE – All of our reclaimed pine flooring requires acclimatisation (preferably in the same room they will be laid) prior to laying, sanding and sealing once laid in situ.
