Description
Our oak refectory dining table can be made to any size requirement. The image shown is 6′ x 3′.
A beautiful solid new oak dining table suitable for the kitchen or dining room. Our refectory Town oak dining table is handmade from kiln dried timbers and made with traditional turned legs. The top thickness is derived from 2″ (54mm) thick oak timbers with a finished thickness of approximately 1.75″ (45mm). The table top is a lovely smooth sanded finish with a slight pencil round to the top edges and corners to take away the sharpness. Traditionally finished with our medium brown wax polish and a top coat of Fiddes Hard wax oil for added protection. Further applications of the oil is recommended to maintain a high level of protection and long durability.
Delivery
Our handmade tables are delivered as one solid furniture piece although, the table top is easily removable for access if required. Small cottage or tight doorways? Just let us know and this table can be made to dismantle and be assembled in situ. Assembly in situ is offered at a charge. All tables come with a complementary care kit. Please see our care and maintenance sheet for further details.
All of our tables are handmade individually to customer order therefore, we do have a lead time. Generally we are looking at 8-10 weeks however, this would be confirmed at the time of quotation/order for you.
